In regards to the recent Coronavirus outbreak, we want to assure you that we still plan on carrying normal business hours to provide care for our patients. This decision has not been made lightly considering the current circumstances. We want everyone to know that we strive to continue to provide all the same services; however, several safety procedures have been implemented to continue to protect our employees and the general public. We ask during these next several weeks and possibly months that people should refrain from coming to our office if they’ve traveled, especially internationally, within the last 2 weeks or if you’ve run a fever within the last 48 hours. We will ask the same standard of our employees and their immediate families. We’ve implemented additional hand sanitizer stations in the lobby in addition to our bathrooms and sinks within the exam rooms. We are making sure that our employees are washing their hands often and constantly wiping down and cleaning surfaces and door knobs throughout our facility.
We also ask that if possible we consider drop off appointments to minimize exposure for all parties involved. This isn’t too dissimilar from local fast food chains morphing to drive thru only. We can be called or texted upon your arrival and come and get your pet from your car and subsequently call you when they’re ready for pickup if services can’t be completed in a timely manner. If it’s best that your pet is seen for an examination, we can accommodate this, but we ask that we can place you quickly in an examination room to prevent crowding within our lobby. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this transition, and please know that our patients and the well-being of all parties involved is of our greatest concern.

Sincerely,

Jen Thompson, DVM
